heads up!!! , the 8600 can only be used in municipalities where there is water or steam and should NEVER be used for process that is hazardous or dangerous. YOU DO HAVE TO SHUTDOWN THE FLOW AND ISSOLATE AND BLEED THIS PROCESS DOWN TO ACCESS THE SENSOR ON 8600 Models... The sensor seal Unlike the 8800 is not isolated from the meter body to sensor compartment. This CAN NOT be accessed safely without properly blocking off the process and bleeding it down, because of it NOT being isolated like the Model 8800. Remove the sensor hold down NUT on the 8600 and the process is Exposed to atmosphere and therefore the technician servicing the sensor. Please make sure that this is noted.

This can either be the rtd cable connection is open or the rtd in the sensor is open. If you select the DIAG key and look under the Rtd portion it should show the resistance value. Select S2
